Abby Hand Accident: How Did It Happen? Know More – RDCNews

Abby Hand, a 20-year-old resident of Tifton, Georgia, lost her life in a fatal car accident on Highway 82. This unfortunate event serves as a sombre reminder of the unpredictable nature of life and the importance of road safety.

Abby, born on December 8, 2002, was the daughter of Lawren Hand and Brook Crumley Hand. She graduated from Berrien High School in 2021, pursued further education at Abraham Baldwin College (ABAC), and had plans to continue her studies at Valdosta State University for the winter 2024 semester. Abby was an active member of the Sigma Alpha sorority at ABAC, cherishing the companionship of her sorority sisters. Beyond her academic pursuits, Abby had a deep love for pets and animals. She found joy in activities like gardening, crafting, engaging in antiquated projects, and making frequent trips to Fernandina Beach, Florida. Her diverse interests reflected the vibrant and multifaceted nature of her personality.

Abby Hand, an ABAC student, tragically passed away in a collision that involved a cotton picker on Highway 82. Abby was a natural-born warrior known for her tough spirit; nonetheless, the impact of the collision proved tremendous. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the Macon hospital. The unexpected and sorrowful incident has left the community mourning the loss of a determined and spirited individual.

A memorial service to celebrate Abby’s life is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. The service will take place at the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals in Tifton, with the Reverend Mark Stone presiding.

Following the ceremony, there will be a graveside tribute at the Enigma City Cemetery. Friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the same location. During the memorial service, pallbearers, including Mitchell Maluda, Zachary Ware, Thomas Snipes, Sam Snipes, Jake Purvis, Tanner Snipes, and Ronald Harbin, will assist.

The Crumley and Hand families express deep gratitude for the thoughts and prayers received during Abby’s hospitalisation. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be directed to the City of Enigma Animal Services at 6600 Radio Station Road, Nashville, GA 31639.
