Kyle Preston Obituary,Texarkana, TX, Cherished Native Has Passed Away

Kyle Preston Obituary, Death – Kyle Preston Clasby, born November 3, 1990, in Pueblo, Colorado, died November 7, 2023, at his Florence, Colorado, home. Kyle graduated from Trinidad Elementary, Pueblo West Middle, and High in 2009. He has an associate’s in welding from Pueblo Community College. Disabled Marine Corps veteran Lance Corporal Kyle was honorably discharged. Kyle started and maintained several successful businesses in his brief but ambitious life, including Southern Colorado septic system excavation and installation company Machete Excavation.

The 6’4″ man worked hard and had a great heart, volunteering for poor families at his own expense. Kyle loves to grill, smoke, and cook in cast iron skillets. He enjoyed serving friends and relatives at home. Kyle married his sweetheart Tera Slaski on June 16, 2021. He loved Tera and Scarlett and was a fantastic husband, father, and son. He strived to satisfy his “girls”.

Kyle loved his three dogs, three cats, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and peacocks. Kyle is survived by his mother, Christine Egland of Pueblo, Colorado; his wife, Tera Clasby of Florence, Colorado; his daughter, Scarlett Clasby, whom he called “Monkey” or “Monk”; aunt and uncle Tina and Lee Cook, and cousins Joel, Kevin, Nathan, and Daniel Cook of Rockvale. Father-in-law Sean (Gabe) Slaski, sisters-in-law Veronica (Robert) Baker and Caden (Dusty) Patterson, brother-in-law Eion Slaski, and Wisconsin nephews Sean Patterson and Robert Baker, Jr. Kyle’s maternal grandparents David and Phyllis Egland, cousins Matthew and Leona Cook, and mother-in-law Calie Slaski died first.

Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m., Holt Family Funeral Home in Cañon City, Colorado will host a visitation. On Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 11 a.m., Florence, Colorado’s Pathfinder Park Event Center will host memorial services and a luncheon. Later Union Highland Cemetery burial. Holt Family Funeral Home welcomes donations instead of flowers.
