Richard Pavilon Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Richard Pavilon – Death – The world obits

Richard Pavilon Obituary, Death – The following individuals came into this world at Roseland Community Hospital on August 9, 1937: There is Richard F. Pavilon of La Grange, Illinois; he is the son of Frank J. and Olga (Wollis) Pavilon; Michael D. Pavilon is his brother; and Geraldine Burke is his cousin. Richard overcame postnatal retinopathy, a condition that rendered him legally blind, much like the legendary Stevie Wonder.

He went on to teach a large class at St. Willibrord High School in Chicago after earning a Master of Arts in American and global history from Loyola University Chicago. Because of his remarkable talent as a teacher, his students paid little attention to the fact that he was blind. He had attended Mendel High School in Chicago, Minnesota’s St. Mary’s College, and Loyola University Chicago.

Richard met and married Charma Mareno, who would become his wife of 35 years, while teaching at St. Patrick/St. Vincent High School in Vallejo, California. He was seeking a new adventure at the time. Richard moved to Turlock and American Canyon, California, to become a history teacher after ten years in Vallejo. In addition to his doggedness and attentive listening, he was a devoted friend who maintained a forty-year phone relationship with Jim Charles (England).

In 2023, after Richard and Charma retired, he passed away in Duvall, Washington. With his loved ones by his side, he succumbed to his long illness. He had reached the ripe old age of 86. At his request, his wife and friends attended a brief memorial service in Duvall, Washington. Richard was not a famous, rich, or talented musician, but his voice was lovely.

However, he was an exceptional person who was dependable, completely self-sufficient, had a memory better than an elephant herd, and carefully observed your every move. Please consider giving whatever you can to the following organizations if you hold Richard’s life in high regard: canines that aid the visually impaired or the blind Charity Navigator has given P.O.
